Nathan began his directing career working in documentaries, music videos, and commercials. While still enrolled in USC’s MFA Film Program he was nominated for a Grammy for James McMurtry’s music video “One More Winter”. Desiring to gain experience in the world of feature Pilm making, he began working as a DP on indie Pilms. This quickly lead to a succession of dp jobs including over a dozen features and numerous television series and pilots. He was nominated three times for the ASC Award for his work on “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and won twice. In 2007 Nathan directed his Pirst feature Pilm “Elsewhere” starring a young and talented cast including Anna Kendrick (“Up in the Air”), Paul Wesley (“Vampire Diaries”), and Tania Raymonde (“Lost”). The following years have found Nathan busily directing episodic television, including multiple episodes of the “CSI” franchises, Fox’s “Gotham”, DC Universes’ “Titans”, and NetPlix’s “Lucifer”, the Pirst season of which he also served as the producing director.
